South Hampton Oyster Replenishment
We aim to improve the health of our local bays by returning the local ecology to its original balance. We do this by introducing shellfish, particularly oysters to our waterways which filter up to 50 gallons of water daily.
Engaging the public through events and educational programs for all ages, we work with the community to better understand our region's rich history and environment and the resources that have shaped our culture.
Artist Residency
An onsite Studio will be provided every quarter for a selected artist. The art created will reflect the local aquaculture / surrounding environment. Working with the arts department & local galleries, the artist selected will have access to studio visits with some of the world most prominent curators and collectors.
A rich history of Art has always been part of the East ends narrative.
We aim to support local and internationally recognized artists with the opportunity to emerge in the environment and community to produce new bodies of work to be exhibited in.
